French Toast Brioche

This family recipe was created by our President, Marc-Andre Pouliot, who loves cooking Sunday morning breakfast for his family. He went on a mission to try all types of bread for French toast, he and his family decided that brioche was by far the winner for both taste and texture. We hope you enjoy this Brioche French Toast as much as we do!


  1. In a large bowl, mix all wet ingredients (eggs, milk, vanilla)
  2. Add cinnamon and mix
  3. In a large pan on medium heat, warm butter or oil
  4. Dip a slice of brioche into the egg mixture for 5 seconds on each side
  5. Cook 2 slices at a time in the large pan until golden brown, about 1 ½ minutes on each side.
  6. Garnish with fruit and serve with maple syrup


  • 2 eggs
  • [1 cup] of Milk
  • 1 tsp of vanilla
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • 8 slices of traditional French brioche loaf, about 2 cm thick
  • 1 tbsp of oil or butter
  • Fruit (strawberries or your favourite fruit to top the French toast)
  • Maple syrup, to taste
