Sloppy Joes on Ciabatta

Product Name: Red Pepper and Onion Square Ciabatta Rolls

We love these tasty, tangy sloppy joes on square red pepper and onion ciabatta bread rolls. The ciabatta rolls lend an extra punch and dignity to this traditionally fun and sloppy dish!


  1. In a large pan, brown the ground beef in oil for five minutes at medium-high heat.
  2. Add the onion and pepper and cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients, except the ciabatta bread, and bring it to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Adjust seasoning as needed.
  5. Slice the ciabatta bread in half.
  6. Spoon some of the meat mixture on each slice of ciabatta. Add garnish and serve while hot.


  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • 675 g (1½ lb) of lean ground beef
  • 1 diced yellow onion
  • 1 diced red pepper
  • ½ tsp or more of chipotle pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup of beef broth
  • ½ cup of chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp of worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper
  • 4 O'Forno Red Pepper and Onion Square Ciabatta Rolls
  • 2 cups of shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 3 chopped green onions
  • 1½ cups of grated cheddar cheese
